Buhari: One Bad Choice

 President Buhari
It beats my imagination that some Nigerians could think there is hope for Nigeria with the caliber of politicians and the leaders that we have. The truth is bitter but lets call a spade a spade. During the last election although had no confidence on APC presidential candidate I however lowered  my suspicions and decided to call it a stale mate like in the game of chess and raised the flags of the majority who thought the "the acclaimed Mr. No corruption" could contend with the forces of corruption that faces the country.

Just before he was sworn-in, I remember the former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, visited Buhari and propped him with good counsel.

ISIS Leader Admits: We Are Being Funded By The Obama Administration

An ISIS leader named Yousef al-Salafi in Pakistan has admitted that ISIS is being funded by the USA, and thus, the Obama administration. This came from a statement done by the Pakistani government which interrogated Yousef and received this information from him.

A source privy to the investigations said:

During the investigations, Yousaf al Salafi revealed that he was getting funding – routed through America – to run the organisation in Pakistan and recruit young people to fight in Syria

One source said that al Salafi confessed that he and another ally — said to be an imam — was getting paid by the US to recruit youths to join ISIS for $600 a recruit.

The same source said:

The US has been condemning the IS activities but unfortunately has not been able to stop funding of these organisations, which is being routed through the US… The US had to dispel the impression that it is financing the group for its own interests and that is why it launched offensive against the organisation in Iraq but not in Syria

Pope remarks about the Armenian Genocide of Christians by Ottoman Muslims.

TURKEY recalls ambassador to the Vatican after heads explode over Pope’s remarks about the Armenian Genocide of Christians by Ottoman Muslims.

Pope Francis on Sunday described the World War I-era slaughter of Armenians by the Ottoman Turkish Muslims as the “first genocide of the 20th century,” igniting a diplomatic confrontation with Turkish leaders, who quickly sent down orders for the Vatican’s ambassador to condemn the pontiff’s remarks and then recalled the ambassador back to Turkey.

Francis, who made the comments at a Mass for the centenary of the start of the mass killings, and in a later message to all Armenians, repeated his stance that the seemingly piecemeal global violence of the 21st century actually represented a “third world war.”

Francis said it was

In 2009, SHEIKH ZAYED CITY, GAZA STRIP — Nearly a thousand Palestinians celebrated marriage on Thursday night in a ceremony organized by Hamas in the north of the Gaza Strip.

Hamas dignitaries including Mahmud Zahar, one of the militant group's top leaders, were on hand to congratulate 450 grooms who took part in the carefully stage-managed event.

"We are saying to the world and to America that you cannot deny us joy and happiness," Zahar told the men from the nearby Jabalia refugee camp. ( context very ambiguous, the reader at risk of conception)

STATEMENT BY H.E. JERRY RAWLINGS ON OUTCOME OF NIGERIA’S ELECTIONS

“Nigerians have taken the lead in the rejection of corruption.

“The election result is a manifestation of the people’s resolve to confront corruption, dishonesty and exploitation. This is a clear message to the new leadership. A bold step has been taken towards a new Nigeria and the incoming leader cannot be unaware of what is expected of him.

“Nigerians did not vote for just anyone. They voted for a man whose integrity is extremely high. Nigeria is tired of corruption and the choice of this leader is a clear indication of where she wants to go.

I hope General Buhari will put together a team whose understanding of the power of the people recognizes and respects the will of the people.

“General Buhari owes it to his people and to Black Africans, the restoration of our pride and the black man’s dignity.
“The image of President Jonathan, a Nigerian Head of State climbing up the stairs to go and complain about Boko Haram to a French President is an image I hope I will not see again.”
