Buhari: One Bad Choice

 President Buhari
It beats my imagination that some Nigerians could think there is hope for Nigeria with the caliber of politicians and the leaders that we have. The truth is bitter but lets call a spade a spade. During the last election although had no confidence on APC presidential candidate I however lowered  my suspicions and decided to call it a stale mate like in the game of chess and raised the flags of the majority who thought the "the acclaimed Mr. No corruption" could contend with the forces of corruption that faces the country.

Just before he was sworn-in, I remember the former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, visited Buhari and propped him with good counsel.
“You have more goodwill and authority now to do the most difficult things at the beginning than at the end. Take advantage of that goodwill that comes with being elected to take difficult decisions that may inflict immediate pain, but in the long-term interest of the country and government,” Blair said at a meeting in Abuja.

Today, the story is different. We have a president whose identity and abilities remain a mystery. Do not get me wrong. Having studied the series of events that have unraveled since he became president, There is no reasonable doubt that the presidency is not rested on the hands of one powerless and clueless man but on the tables of a few minority who detects what happens in the country. President Buhari has not in any way represented the man Nigerians thought he could be, cause he never really was. A man's work shows what he is and going by this, there is nothing to show that he is the messiah that most Nigerians saw in him. Lets take a look at some happenings in the country and the actions of the presidency.

1. Nnamdi Kanu's IPOB Biafra agitation: Many lives were slaughtered and the group declared a terrorist group.
2. Fulani Herdsmen Killings: Victims are asked to pray for their enemies and the 36 states are asked to release some portion of land for the Fulani Herdsmen.
NOTE: I.P.O.B that killed no one during their agitation had their members killed but the FULANI HERDSMEN/KILLERS are to be rewarded with hectares of land. Well done, Mr. President I guess this is your idea of one Nigeria.
3. All the security agencies except the Navy is headed by the Hausa-Fulani entourage.
4. The electoral body has been hijacked by the Fulani so for those of you who think your PVC can get him out in 2019 should go and re-fix your brain from the anus into your skull.
With just few months left in his tenure his fight against corruption has only highlighted his one sided personality and the vendetta that runs in his blood.
His major error in his corruption fight is focusing so much on individuals instead of focusing on institutions. When you probe the corruptions that goes on in our government institutions you will discover an unstoppable chain reaction of countless corrupt acts.
As a patriotic Nigerian I had thought that Buhari when elected will review the Luxurious salary and allowances of politicians especially the law makers but no he will rather sell the National theater in other to raise money for budget. Well at this Juncture, my advice to Nigerian youths is that no one should think there is nothing the youth can do. Start with opening your eyes to see the obvious cause it appears a lot have been blinded by youthful exorbitance and the quest to make money at all cost so one is ready to sacrifice his time and other resources to be concerned by the happenings in Nigeria. WAKE UP, before it is too late.
