Boss suggests Mata and McNair will start

 

United manager Louis van Gaal has suggested +Juan Mata and Paddy McNair will start Sunday's Barclays Premier League fixture against Everton.

Mata is set to replace the suspended Wayne Rooney in the

no.10 role, while McNair keeps his place after an impressive debut against West Ham.

"I will miss Wayne because he is the captain of the team but Mata can also play very well," said van Gaal in his pre-match press conference. "We still have three central defenders injured so McNair shall play. I chose him last week and he was very good."
